To assist forensic geophysics and archaeological rescues, controlled sites are constructed locations that resemble criminal or archaeological investigations enabling geophysical investigations to interpret and minimize the ambiguity of geophysical responses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para assistir a geof\u00edsica forense e os salvamentos arqueol\u00f3gicos, os s\u00edtios controlados s\u00e3o locais constru\u00eddos que se assemelham as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es criminais ou arqueol\u00f3gicas viabilizando ensaios geof\u00edsicos com o intuito de interpretar e diminuir a ambiguidade das respostas geof\u00edsicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UFPR Near Surface Forensic Geophysical Controlled Test Site (SGFR in Portuguese) is located in the northern part of Campus Centro Polit\u00e9cnico, next to the parking lot and adjacent to the Biological Sciences Sector building (see location figure below). It comprises an area of 140m\u00b2 (14m x 10m), and is situated in the Guabirotuba Formation clays of the Curitiba Basin. The artifacts are buried at depths ranging from 10 to 45 centimeters, including: pebbles, clothing, fossilized trunks of angiosperms, bovine bones, ceramic vessels, empty drums and metals, among others (see schematic figure below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O S\u00edtio Controlado de Geof\u00edsica Forense Rasa (SGFR) da UFPR est\u00e1 localizado na parte norte do Campus Centro Polit\u00e9cnico, pr\u00f3ximo ao estacionamento e adjacente ao pr\u00e9dio do Setor de Ci\u00eancias Biol\u00f3gicas (vide figura de localiza\u00e7\u00e3o abaixo). Ocupa uma \u00e1rea de 140m\u00b2 (14m x 10m), e est\u00e1 situado nos sedimentos argilosos da Forma\u00e7\u00e3o Guabirotuba na Bacia de Curitiba. Os artefatos est\u00e3o enterrados em profundidades que variam de 10 a 45 cent\u00edmetros, contemplando: seixos, vestimentas, troncos fossilizados de angiospermas, ossos de bovinos, vasos de cer\u00e2micas, tambores vazios e metais, entre outros (veja a figura do esquema do SGRF abaixo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
